If it costs you your peace, it’s not worth it. The first time I heard this quote it was during a time in my life when I had to make a pretty big decision. I saw the quote, and I knew the decision that had to be made. The one that would cost me my peace was not worth it.

I’m sure you know the feeling when you have made the wrong decision. Personally, it feels like I am being eaten alive. I can’t stop thinking about and it causes me stress. Whereas, making a choice that is right for me, it may come with a hard conversation, but the peace that comes after is worth it.

Why am I bringing this up? Because so many times we can find ourselves feeling stuck. Unsure of what direction to go, whether its parenting, relationships, business or really anything in life.

There is something powerful when you can go WITHIN and trust that voice inside even when you feel like it is telling you to take the road less travelled. The world is a loud place, and many times it shouting shoulds, when you have to trust that nudge and go a different direction.

When you can begin to trust yourself and listen to your intuition, it will completely change your life. I’ll give you a little back story.

There was a time in my life where I couldn’t even order off a menu at a restaurant. I would freeze in fear that I would make the wrong decision. I know what you are thinking, Lacie, it’s just food. It’s not that big of a deal.

But when you have a hard time making decisons on what food to eat, think about trying to make bigger decisions in life. This is where I am so grateful to have found human design. When you learn about your human design, you learn about how your authority (intuition) shows up for you to help you make big decisions.
