Things are shifting in the digital business space no matter if you are selling your own courses or you are in Network Marketing. If you haven’t looked into email marketing, now is the time.

… and while yes, many are able to make money online without a website or email list, I want to ask you one question.

What happens when social media has a blackout or if your account gets hacked?

Over the last few years I have watched women with just a few hundred followers (who make good money from their social media) and influencers with over 100,000 followers… lose their account overnight.

Some have shared they lost major brand deals (aka how they make money online and pay their bills) because they weren’t able to post when they were contracted.

The truth is, there is no way to control social media. You have to think of it as rented space. It’s not yours, which is why I looked into email marketing.

When I first learned about email marketing, I was in my 2437 Network Marketing business, and I knew this could add so much value to my customers. At the time, leaders in the industry were preaching to focus on building social media. I played around with email marketing, but didn’t commit to it because I didn’t have a clear vision with how to add it into my business.

ok, but can we keep chatting about emails and why they are legit?

I was recently on a call with Flodesk and Jen, the founder of TONIC (my favorite website templates ever), and a fire was lit under my butt. I loved hearing about why her #1 focus for her business is email marketing.

There are 361.6 Billion emails sent daily. I’ll let that number sink in for a minute.
